Cool down to -10°C with our modern low-temp units.

Many of our clients are active in the food industry. Logical, because within this sector, cooling is crucial. Not only to preserve the freshness and quality of their products but also to ensure food safety.

Usually, temperatures between 0°C and 8°C are required, depending on the type of product. These low temperatures are difficult to achieve with a setup consisting of a chiller with an air handling unit. That's why we invested in these modern low-temp units last year.

Cooling above and below freezing point

As the name suggests, these devices are used for the lower temperature range, ranging from -10°C to +5°C. These low-temp units can therefore cool both negatively and positively in spaces up to 400m², taking into account the heat load.

R449A is used as the refrigerant. This refrigerant has a GWP of 1397. This is a whopping 64% lower than the phased-out R404A. In addition, the energy efficiency of this refrigerant is 10% higher than R404A.

Just like our EVO chillers, these low-temp units are equipped with the Climatix system. This allows the device to be monitored remotely 24/7.

The air handler AHU100 is used in this low-temp unit, serving as a free cooler. Thanks to the quick couplings for water and electricity (63A), both devices are installed and operational in no time.

Not only for the food industry

These low-temp units are extremely suitable for the food industry, but of course also for other applications that require lower temperatures between -10°C and +5°C. Think of storing pharmaceutical products or chemical raw materials.

Benefits:

  • Cooling between -10°C and +5°C
  • Quick installation
  • High energy efficiency
  • Remote monitoring
