We recently received a pressing request from Delta-Temp from a company specialized in making frozen fries and croquettes. As their freezers open and close regularly for loading trucks, the problem of freezing evaporators of the freezers arose.
With the prospect of summer, more and more warm humid outside air is entering these freezers, causing faster evaporation of ice on the evaporators. Since the freezers are connected to the space where all loading bays come together, this customer wishes to dehumidify this space as quickly as possible.
We immediately consulted Delta-Temp and came up with a tailor-made solution for this customer, which is to install a cooling installation in the room to be dehumidified during the entire summer period.
The installed installation consisted of a chiller of 320kW and 3 air handling units AHU175. This installation had a very favorable effect on the evaporators in the freezers, as a result of which the condensate drained was large.
